    FUCK YOU, LJ
I have an LJ that's basically a bulletin board for a friend and me to post private messages. I was in the middle of posting a long entry, working something through when firefox crashed and it was all lost.

FUCK YOU, LIVEJOURNAL. FUCK. YOU. FOR NOT SAVING DRAFTS. YOU CANNOT KNOW HOW GLAD I AM THAT I USE BLOGGER AS MY MAIN BLOG.

    SCREW YOU TO HELL.

    As suspected...
Java, your concerns were wellfounded. See:

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/3604134.stm

As expected, they found explosives in the plane wreckage.

On a much cheerier note, enjoy the Renaissance Festival run!! BE, we must catch up soon...xx

From BBC Magazine monitor, the weekly puzzle - which I'm working on - Java, NO answers yet - we'll compare later.
Each week LBQ giant Si is going to pose a riddle for you to puzzle over. The answer, and winner, will be revealed next Monday. Enter using the form below.

    A total nightmare

Candace, Chris, Kieran and Tim were all competing in the Magazine's Lunchtime Bonus Question. Chris was kind enough to keep a running total of how many entries they each had published.

When Kieran reached Candace's 8th week total, Tim was 8 behind Chris.

The week Chris was 6 behind Candace happened 12 weeks after Kieran was a similar distance behind Tim.

The week Candace reached Chris and Tim's combined 20th week total, Kieran had had 40 entries published.

After 40 weeks, Chris was 20 ahead of Tim.

Assuming they were published at a constant rate, how many questions did each have published during the 52 week year?

And I'm in the middle of putting everyone in terms of everyone else [this is different from life how, exactly?]

Not much to say just yet...just that I'm looking forward to housesitting in Scotland and spending time by the sea. Will explore the possibility of the Anglican priesthood in that month away from my Catholic church...no pressure of worrying about friends or what they expect. Maybe I'll do a bit of work...teaching at a school, writing, working in Anstruther library. I don't know...but though I'm nervous about leaving my friends here and being away that long, I'm really excited. I'll ring Anne tomorrow and finalise details...Pushkin [the cat] and the sea, here I come!!
